Split/Second demo races to Xbox Live to day exclusive for Xbox Live Gold Members

The heavily awaited arcade racing game's dem has just dropped on Xbox Live for its Gold members and it teaches you really bad driving. The demo will allow players to racethrough the Airport Terminal level making huge explosions and sending other players to the grave :)

For now the demo is exclusive to Xbox 360's online network but will be available on PSN for PS3 users on May 11 before the final release date May 21st. Until then happy blowing.
 

Xbox 360 Console Sales Exceeds 40 million worldwide, Microsoft

The Xbox 360 was launched back in November 2005 and since then has sold out 40 million consoles worldwide.
Microsoft recently released its third quarter sales results, ending March 2010. The Xbox 360 has generated $1.67 billion revenue, a two percent increase in the amount than the previous years same quarter of selling Xbox 360.
Microsoft is expecting to see a huge boost in the Xbox 360 sales this holiday when it releases Project Natal.
Note:- Microsoft has confirmed that all the games supported by Natal and many other details will be released during the E3 2010 in June.

Xbox 360 exclusive's title Alan Wake's prequel available on Xbox Live now

As promised to Xbox 360 owners, the prequel to the Xbox 360 exclusive title coming May 18 in the U.S has been launched on Xbox Live for Gold Members only. Yes that right it is only available for Gold members but what are the people going to do? Dont worry friends you do not have to wait long. The episodes will be available to Silver members tomorrow and to the general public on the 27th April on alanwake.com

Halo : Reach, the biggest and the most awaited title coming exclusively to Xbox 360 is getting the limited edition which the fans of the the most beloved game wouldnt want to miss on their beloved console, Xbox 360. Additional Halo has today unveiled a new video for Halo : Reach:

Halo : Reach will be available in standard, limited and LEGENDARY edition once it it is released this fall exclusively to Xbox 360. The legendary edition will contain a collection of 10 inch tall, more than 10 pound statue of Noble Team.

Halo: Reach Limited Edition contains the folowing in addition to the Disc and Manual
* Game disc covered in ONI "black box"

Xbox 360 USB data storage now Official

Probably you heard about the rumour that Microsoft will add USB support to the Xbox 360 which will allow any USB to be connected to Xbox 360 which will allow data on the USB to be saved, edited and deleted.
Well its official guys, Major Nelson has confirmed this. On April 6 a new update for the console will allow you to do this and 2 USB's each upto 16 GB could be connected.
Feel's Great right? 32 GB of additional space on the console, I am already loving it...

Lost Planet 2 multiplayer demo arriving on XBOX LIVE and PSN

Capcom has today notified that a multiplayer demo for its upcoming action game Lost Planet2 will be releasing on Xbox Live and PSN on April 21 and 22 respectively. The map will contain the Turbulent Jungle map and will allow 16 players to play together and view their stats online.
However, good news for the fans, the Capcom press release stated that it will release the demo to its most devoted next Wednesday with 'community distributed voucher codes' although  I am not sure neither Capcom explained how are they going to do it, I would say it would be good if fans regularly visit Capcom Unity.
Capcom also announced that the final version will be released May 11 for the consoles while the PC will release later this year.

Gamestop sued by James Collins for Deception

A lawsuit filed this week against GameStop acusses the company of "deceptively misleading" its customers into believing a used game purchased from the store comes with all packaged downloadable content advertised on the box. This content, however, is only made available for free to those who purchase the game new, as the code to access the content can be only used one time.
James Collin bought a Dragon Age:Origins game from gamestop earlier in January for $54.99, $5 less than the new game with full access to downloadable content. James thought that he would be able to download the content since the box showed the downloadable content could be downloaded if the old version was bought.
However James found out that he could not and would have to pay additional $15 for this content. The manager of Gamestop declined to return the game as seven days had passed only during games could be returned.
'Gamestop is well aware of this procedure and frauds customers to buy these games' the suit states.
Collins is currently demanding for compensation.
No Gamestop representative could be reached at the moment to comment.
